St. George City Small Business Relief Grant
Up to $25,000 per business available
The Small Business Relief Grant (SBRG) is a COVID-19 relief program for small businesses located in the City of St. George intended to provide financial relief for losses and expenses incurred due to the COVID-19 pandemic from the grant period of March 1, 2020 through August 31, 2020.Grant eligibility is based on documented revenue loss of at least $500, and eligible CARES Act expenses between the grant period of March 1, 2020 through August 31, 2020. Revenue replacement is not a permissible use of SBRG Fund payments.

The COVID-19 Business Manual is a step-by-step plan from the Utah Department of Health to protect your business and prevent the spread of COVID-19. It is important to look at how your business operates and make a plan to make your worksite healthier. You can use this guidance throughout the pandemic, no matter what color of the Utah Color-Coded Health Guidance your community is in. The manual has up-to-date recommendations from the UDOH, CDC, OHSA, and U.S. Department of Labor.

Commercial Rental Assistance Grant
Commercial rental relief program for businesses
Known as ComRent, it provides rental relief to Utah small businesses that have lost revenue due to measures taken during the pandemic to minimize the public’s exposure to COVID-19. The program now provides up to $5,000 per month, per location and up to three months of assistance.

Small Business Quarantined Employee Grant
Reimbursement to pay quarantined employees
The $2 million Small Business Quarantined Employee Grant uses federal CARES Act funds as part of Utah’s response to the coronavirus pandemic. It provides reimbursement to small business employers (Less than 50 employees) who pay employees to stay home during quarantine or isolation for maximum of 40 hours per week for a period of up to two calendar weeks.

Encourage Utahns to Support Local
The ‘In Utah’ campaign casts a wide net across the state to support healthy choices and economic reactivation during and following the COVID-19 pandemic. The campaign’s purpose is to educate and inform Utahns on the opportunities and benefits of supporting Utah business. It encourages us to shop, dine, stay, work, film and play, ‘In Utah.’
